Bike and mountain, a good combination? Definitely a: “Yes, I do!” The feeling of freedom after pedalling uphill that gets your pulse racing and perhaps a drop or two of sweat forming. Once you reach the top, you can savour the feeling of happiness, the pride in your own achievement and, as a reward, the unique mountain panorama on top. The feeling of freedom comes on the descent, the wind whistles and you seem to “fly”. Simply marvellous!

Here, in the middle of the Salzburg mountains, the ultimate mountain bike adventure awaits you: 123+11 kilometres and a massive 4,500 metres in altitude along idyllic alpine valleys, glistening mountain lakes and panoramic peaks. You will be mesmerised by the overwhelming 360° Alpine panorama. (Doable in 1, 2 or 3 days)

Mountainskyver
What is a Mountainskyver again? Quite simply. The Mountainskyver is THE innovation in summer mountain sports. And THE solution as to how the “descent” after the most beautiful mountain hike can also be a real experience. While others march back to the car and drive back down to the valley right after the alpine hike, Mountainskyver riders still have a lot of fun.
The lightweight, portable, sporty mountain scooters were specially developed to turn long descents into an experience. True to the motto “protect the nature, respect the people and enjoy your ride” – you can now also experience this adventure in Obertauern. The Mountain Skyver is suitable for children aged 8 and over accompanied by an adult.
